Did Flash cause Firefox to crash?

Firefox is my browser of choice. Lately I noticed that some Flash-dependent web pages tended to lock up my browser when I tried to access them.

Opening Console.app in the Utilities folder, I entered a couple of search strings and found the following entries:

I logged onto Adobe’s website and noticed that a later version (11.4) of Flash Player than what I had on my computer was available for downloading. After installing Flash Player 11.4, I found I was able to complete the transaction on the last web site I visited without a problem. Even so, I will continue to monitor the situation to determine for sure whether the problem has been corrected with the latest release of Flash Player.
