Attempting ScreenSteps 2.8.7 upgrade failed

ScreenSteps is a software program from Blue Mango Learning Systems that allows Mac OS X or Windows users to capture screenshots of a computer screen in order to create documents such as product tutorials, reports, and brochures. I have been using ScreenSteps for a few years and recently ran into a situation where the software update option from the Help menu failed to execute properly in my version (2.8.0) of the program.

Below is the error log that was generated during the failed download.

Software Version: 2.8.7r53

After submitting the error report to the software vendor, I received a reply from a Blue Mango representative to manually download the ScreenSteps 2.8.7 installer from the company website. Problem was quickly resolved.
