Tweets on Twitter that originated in LinkedIn

Here is a mail bag question that involves two social networking programs, LinkedIn and Twitter:

“How do I remove duplicate entries that I originally created in Linkedin that were auto-linked to my Twiitter account? When I browse my Twitter account, I see reference to several Linkedin updates that I thought I had deleted.”

Here is the response from LinkedIn Customer Support:

“Twitter® messages are not delayed in their delivery so once it is sent, you cannot edit it on LinkedIn. You can log into Twitter and delete a Tweet from appearing on your Twitter page should you not want others view it from there. This can be done by clicking the trash icon on the right end of the update on your Twitter home page. Also, you could send a new update to clarify items in the first update.”
