Add a graphic to your Mail signature

Do you use Apple Mail to send and receive messages? Do you wonder how others are able to use Apple Mail to send messages that include graphics that’s part of their signature? Read on to find out how this can be accomplished very simply with the help of the Preview application.

Step #1: Open Mail and choose Preferences from the Mail menu. Click the Signatures tab to activate that menu option. In the left sidebar, select the email account you want to associate with the signature.

Step #2: Choose an existing signature, or click the plus (+) button to create a new signature.

Step #3: Find or create a graphic image and open it in Preview. For best results, avoid an image whose height exceeds 72 pixels. Press Command-C to copy the image to the clipboard.

Step #4: Place your mouse cursor under the last text line of your signature, then press Command-V to paste the image from the clipboard.

Step #5: Close out of Mail Preferences, then create a new message that contains your graphics-enhanced mail signature!
