Sending an AppleWorks file to a PC user

From today’s mail bag:

I have a very basic question on sending an AppleWorks file, cross platform. I created an order form on AppleWorks and attached it to an email. Recipient (a PC user) said she couldn’t open it as is. Needs it to be a .pdf file. AppleWorks gives me html, rtf, and text as Save as options. No pdf. What do you suggest?

  1. Use the Save as PDF function that is built in Mac OS X.

From the File menu in AppleWorks, select Print to bring up the Print dialog box. Click the oblong button labeled PDF to display a drop down menu. Choose Save as PDF and save the file to a convenient location (such as your Desktop).
