Mac OS X Trojan Horse found


Mac OS X is not immune from viruses and malware. Malicious programmers are aware of the popularity of the Mac platform and are creating software that wreak havoc on the OS X operating system. A recently discovered piece of malware was reported today on Macworld.com.

While this Trojan Horse was initially targeted to porn site visitors, it could spread to other sites like video blogs. If you’re not currently using anti-virus software because you feel the Mac is invulnerable, reconsider your position in view of recent developments. If you have anti-virus software installed, make sure you regularly test your files for malware using the latest virus definitions. A free anti-virus program that I use is called ClamXav.
