Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard) DVD will install on PowerPC and Intel Macs

On Friday, October 26, Apple will release its new operating system, Mac OS X 10.5 (code-named Leopard).

Leopard is the first Mac OS X system that comes on a Universal Binary DVD. This means that the very same system can be used to start up either a PowerPC Mac or an Intel Mac. Unlike Tiger (10.4), you can use Leopard to make a universal boot disk.
